Saint Jo School Board Recognizes Boys and Girls Cross Country Teams

The Saint Jo ISD Board of Trustees recently recognized the Varsity Cross Country teams and their coach, Ryan Bruce, for their accomplishments this season.
On the boy's side, they continued the success of recent years, qualifying to the Regional Meet after their 2nd place finish at District. They finished 6th as a team at the Regional Meet. Team members: Zeke Bonn, Jayden Curry, Trent Gaston, Barrett Johnson, Max Koesler, Julian Luna and Elijah Young.
On the girl's side, a new school record was achieved when they claimed the Regional Championship. On the season they were District Champions, Regional Champions and finished 9th at State, with Abby Carter finishing individually in the Top 20 at State. Team members: Abby Carter, Kaycee Jo Clark, Aubrey Morman, Tatum Morman and Taylor Patrick.
These athletes put in many hours and even more miles within their season, with the goal of running at Round Rock for a state medal. Congratulations to these runners on their record setting season!
